Chapter 75 Question to readers

Not to give away any spoilers but, how many readers thought that there was a pregnancy involved between Miller and Tobias?

Approaching the conclusion of Up From the Depths

There are several chapters at the editors as I type this meaning that the end of this novel is well within sight. Its possible that it might be concluded before reaching its predicted length of 100 chapters.

Its possible but not likely.

Plot versus Character

OK everyone, I need all those that have read my novel up to this point to give me feedback on the following issues.

Is the novel a plot first novel which means that the plot is richly detailed but the characters are not and seem to be one-dimensional?

OR

Is the novel a character first novel where the characters are detailed and believable but the plot is not as much so thereby creating a character rich novel with a weak plot.

OR

Did I, by some chance actually create a balance between the two and have a plot and character balanced novel?

Changes coming

Starting with Chapter 69 and moving all the way to the end of the novel, Chapter 100, the chapter length will increase. This is an effort to tie up loose ends and complete each character's role within the storyline.

Chapter 68

Within the last 2 chapters, 67 and 68, there is mention of the Flyer LSV or Light Strike Vehicle. Such a vehicle does exist, however at this time no one besides the USAF has expressed much interest in it. As the novel is set in a future time, like the day after tomorrow, equipment, weapons and vehicles described or mentioned within the novel are future tech. Not to be mistaken with science fiction, all the items are either just now being issued or have recently rolled off the line in the form of a prototype.

Here's a link to a couple of sites that talk about the Flyer Gen II LSV.
