I'm still having trouble with Chapter 3 of Rookie, so I decided to go back to my roots, classic erotica, for a bit to see if I can shake the words loose.
My new story (I Maid a Bet and I Won!) is inspired by a number of things, the character Astrid from the Doctor Who 2007 Xmas special, a conversation I had with someone on line, and a girl I happened to see at the shopping center just after.
For those of you looking for more of my paranormal stuff, I promise, more shall be forthcoming. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy this short detour.
Thanks for reading.
I know exactly what is going to happen at the beginning of Chapter 3 of rookie. I know what needs to happen at the end of Chap 3 to set up Chapter 4.
Right now I have no clue how to connect the two. Everything I come up with just seems a bit, well, off.
I'll keep hacking at it tho!
Chapter 2 of Rookie has been submitted for posting. Does Natasha really just need to get laid in reality, or is something more sinister going on?
Hi There!
Just a heads up to let you know that the Prologue and First Chapter of the next D59 Story, Rookie, has been submitted on StoriesOnLine. Hopefully it should be up soon.
Rookie is a prequel to Quarantine and deals with the first mission of Special Agent Natasha.
Not many details for now as its only the first chapter, but as always helpful suggestions and constructive criticism always welcome.
Works proceeds apace on the next Department 59 story, which focuses on Natasha's first mission (don't know Natasha? Read quarantine).
The way the story is developing, however, is leading to a different format. Basically, it would be very possible to tell this story with a minimum of sex if I wanted, as the primary sex scenes take place away from the main storyline, and in fact could ruin some suspense.
So, what I am going to do for this one is release parts in a split format. What I mean by that is I will post chapter 1, the main story, then chapter 1A, which will have the secondary (and more erotica-based) scenes. That way, people who want to follow the story first can either skip or come back and read the secondary chapters.
What do you think? Comments welcome. I expect to put the first chapter(s) up in around 2 weeks, life permitting.
