Promoted.. which is worse. Yay for extra money, boo for extra work and less travel leaving me less time to write. 'Bump' is still proceeding, albeit slowly!
From the D59 universe, the working title is "Things that go bump in the night", but that will probably change.
Unlike its predecessors, I will probably not be posting this story until it is completely written. For some reason, the plot seems more in flux than normal, and I want to keep chapters back until I am sure everything works.
Also, I am looking for someone willing to line-edit stories for punctuation, grammar, etc. If you are interested, send me a note.
Hi All:
A new story in the Neighborhood Chronicles has been submitted for posting and should be up shortly. As I mentioned in a previous blog entry, each story has to have 4 plot elements, in this case as follows:
Inspired by something I saw: A trampoline at Dick's sporting goods. Yeah, it was obvious.
Inspired by a person I saw: A girl, at the same Dick's.
Word Play: Tramp-Oline.. Get it?
And finally, a random dice roll: On a couch.
I'm not sure what will be next out, I have at least two ideas in my head, plus part of a third. One D59 story, one Neighborhood and one Fan-Fic. We'll see which one screams loudest to be let out.
I've been a member here, much longer than a writer, and when I logged in today, one of my stories came up on the random story window. Cool...
Hello dear readers:
As I mentioned a few entries ago, the response to I Maid A Bet was so positive that I decided to expand it into a series, which I have decided to call Tales from the Neighboorhood. As I have also mentioned prior, one of my goals of writing here is to improve my skills, so I have been looking at how the new series will fit into what I have in mind.
What I've basically done is set myself a challenge. Each story from Tales will be based on 4 things.
1> The story will be inspired by a person or persons I have seen in the last 7 days somewhere. It might just be someone I noticed at the mall, or someone I know.
2> The story must feature something else I have seen in the last 7 days of a non-sexual nature (doesn't have to stay that way in the story).
3> I have a set of those 'sex dice', the kind you roll with your partner for a random activity. Once I have picked #1 and #2, I will roll the dice to determine at least one sexual element of the story.
4> The title has to have a little bit of story-related word play.
I'm not sure how this is going to work out, but hey, it will be fun trying...
The next story in the series is in 'pre-production.' It's called Tramp-Oline. Keep an eye out :)
