I must apologize for my lateness and absence in posting of Amelia and Alicia--therefore, I have had Lazeez delete it. If I ever finish it, or make some extraordinary progress, it will be posted once more, and hopefully will be complete. My meds drain me totally, physically and mentally, and I have no energy for anything creative--making supper is a triumph, and doing the laundry on time is a success.

Hello faithful readers....Jan is done and posted. The slight delay at the end was caused by a computer glitch at my editor's residence. My apologies.
From the mail I've received so far, almost everyone liked the story. Those who didn't said things like "it's not possible" and "get real"....it was listed as a fantasy, and I guess those two didn't read that part, LOL!
My plea at the end is very real though, and if you question your biologically apparent gender, PLEASE let someone know right away. Ignore the ignorant and prejudiced among us and be strong. Help is a phone call away.
Gay kids have enough to deal with without being hassled for their preference. Can you imagine not being able to trust your own emotions? They need our support, not ostracism or bullying. But for the Grace of God, there goes you or you or you; be kind to your fellow humans. Too many kids commit suicide because they believe everyone hates them because of what they prefer. Nature made those kids what they are, they had no choice. Mistreating them is criminal and hating them is pretty useless; they had no choice but to be who they are. Perhaps it's a gene, maybe a chemical absent or present during pregnancy, perhaps it's in the water...no matter, live and let live. You may find that one of these young adults is a wonderful friend and a loyal person; should it matter who he or she desires to have sex with? I say not, and only you can determine your opinion. Please choose wisely, someone's life may depend on your actions.

I've deleted my rant about voting. It makes no difference to me what the score is. I don't write this stuff for you guys, although I get a thrill when someone writes and says it was a good story. I write because I have to. I have about four or five personalities, any one of whom sometimes will take control and guide my hand. You see the results.
Like 'em or lump 'em, what you see is what you get.
Now if you guys had to PAY for these things, like go to the store and buy the book, I'm sure you would be very discriminating and your choices would reflect that. I am not Diana Gabaldon or John Irving, so my skills are not at their level (I DO try very hard!) but you are not going to read literature here. This is a porn site, and I write erotica, defined by me as sexy smut. I don't do the really nasty stuff--pick anything that squicks you--I do romance and 1st time things. I'm a romantic at heart, an optimist by nature and sexual by birth. I have no choice but to do what I do.
A very nice guy wrote me the other day and critiqued my latest story. He told me what he thought was wrong with it, and I had to agree with him. I can't change it now, but in the future I'm hoping to be more careful about the things he mentioned. He made me a better writer; I appreciate him.
So, vote or not, note or not, I'm going to continue to post. Until they bury me, probably. Let me know if the stories get too tiresome, will you??

Since my gradual recovery began, I've been writing a little more each day. My latest, "Jan", is being posted as I type. It is complete, only about 20k words or so, and my take on the boy/girl thing. It doesn't contain anything squicky, but be sure to read the Foreword.
Also, for you loyalists out there who have written me, I will finish Amy and Ali very soon. I'm working on it!! Thanks to Kristi, Barb and Sugar for their kind words and wishes.
