George R. R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire specifically. Plowing through 800+ page books chews up a lot of time.
However, I've been sitting on the final chapter of Painting Meagan for a while after my editor sent it back to me, so I really need to get that posted soon.
I got some feedback indicating one of my end notes was out of date. I'm starting to think that time sensitive information doesn't belong in an end note. However, I am glad I got the notes cleaned up.
I've also enjoyed getting some feedback on older stories, presumably because someone found them because of the contest story I wrote.
For my time sensitive information, I'm in the process of writing the final chapter of Painting Meagan 5, Peter's Advanced Training.
Please check it out if you like the other things I've written.
I should probably get the concluding chapter of Peter's Advanced Training written so more people will see this :)
I wrote a story for the story competition which has distracted me from making progress on Meagan's story. I'm happy with the way that story, Crotch Rocket Competition, turned out, especially since it wasn't even close to anything I had planned to write. It just kind of flowed once I got going though.
On top of that, I'm oncall with work this week. I hope to be able to finish up Peter's advanced training without further interruptions once I'm done with my oncall week.
The next chapter of Painting Meagan is done. I should be able to post it soon.
I've been keeping the story in one big document, but it's getting unwieldy at over 100 pages long. I think I might have to put Story 6 into a new computer file when this story is done.
I still can't get over the fact that I'm past the 100 page mark on this story. That's not all story, because I've got the outline of the story embedded in there too, but it will be well over 100 pages of story by the time I'm done with part V.
