I am a huge believer in the fact that people should be allowed to comment anonymously. I've always felt that any body who reads my work is more than entitled to have an opinion and to express that opinion, whether they do it anonymously or if they give me their name, address and phone number. I respect those opinions.
Now, saying that, there is one person I wish had left me a name. I can handle tons of things, but Jesus, sending me an email telling me you aren't going to read anymore of my work because one of my characters isn't acting the way you like? That's really not my problem. That's yours. You do as you like...Now that I have this off my chest, I'll go back to doing what I do best, writing.
You have a good life, Mr/Ms Anonymous. I won't look for you anymore.
I've gotten a lot of emails, most of them anonymous, stating that I am cheating on the Nano because I've written the first chapter. I write differently than a lot of people. I don't use outlines or have anything written down about the people or the places I'm writing about. I sit and let it flow out of me. I've always written down the first chapter of the Nano, but I never use it as the word count.
Since I've been accused of cheating, I'm scrapping the Sanctuary manuscript and will come up with something else. This just means that I won't be finishing that novel.
Thanks so much...
is up. Enjoy! I'm having some internet connection problems and won't be able to get them sorted for a couple of days so, don't worry if you don't hear from me. Thanks!
Callie's Shadow, a story that I've always thought of as one of my best, has been reviewed. Dark Angel Reviewers have called it a recommended read. I'm so excited about this.
