This story, is set in Lazlo Zalezac's 'Damsels In Distress Universe,' and is a sequel to 'Pēteris' a story that should be read first.

Set in Lazlo Zalezac's 'Damsels In Distress Universe,' this story follows yet another warrior hero. Pete is a recently discharged combat medic who is recruited by a Hero's two granddaughters who desperately want to go to Chaos as Companions. Note: There is much violence in this story, and in later chapters, allusions to off-camera rape, but I have not used the rape code. / (Reviews)
A story in the The Human Nexus Universe
One night between midnight and six AM Eastern, most of the people of the world died. No one knew why; there was no warning; they simply stopped. Some survived to live a few extra hours or days. In the USA, this meant that most folks died in their beds. Streets, roads, and bridges remained mostly open. In other parts of the world, the timing was such that the visible carnage was horrendous. For the dead, neither situation mattered a whit. After a week, humanity was dead - all but a very few.

Set in Thinking Horndog's Swarm Cycle universe. At his extraction, a young volunteer requests that his unborn, dependent child be picked up with him, and the mother wants to go. Minor detail: he has three unborn dependents at the extraction site, and this volunteer is authorized only two concubines. The AI refuses to make a decision, and it falls to Sub-Decurion Barry Manilow Smith (Remember Signifer BMS from 'Don't Blame Me!') to straighten out the mess - or does it?
