The Torrington Files
These stories are about the Town of Torrington, Missouri. (It doesn't exist except in my depraved mind so don't bother looking)These are the adventures of some of the people who live there.
Some have asked where Torrington Is supposed to be so here it is:
The Location of Torrington Missouri and Lake Torrington
A man made tributary of the Gasconade River feeds Lake Torrington. It lays between the cities of Lebanon, to the west, Salem, to the east, and Houston, Missouri to the southeast. It is east southeast of Fort Leonard Wood. It is approximately 80 miles from Springfield, Mo, 120 from St. Louis and is 80 miles due north of the Missouri/Arkansas border. The lake is 2 miles wide at it's widest point and 11 miles long.
The city of Torrington has a population of 100,000 and is one of the largest Cities in Missouri. Sitting on the southeast shore of the lake Torrington is located in Pulaski County, while Covington is located in Texas County to the South.
