Ka Hmnd: Stories

This is a fictional account for a friend that was there. When politicians and brass sell out our own people first they must get clear and then find a way out of the jungle. The first time we thought it was a mistake or a military screw up. The second time we knew we had been set up. When a general confirmed the politicians were selling us out it was time to leave and get even.

When the ancient man staggered out of the dark my life was forever changed. That gave me some magic and a lot of knowledge. Preforming an ancient spell was not easy and was extremely painful. I had little idea that other magic users or wizards might hunt me for that power and knowledge. I had been a lonely man and the magic gave me a way to help.

A young man from an ancient clan leaves to seek advanced learning. The clan is considered the most deadly of all clans and peoples from earth and the young man is a lesser master. When asked to protect a girl he accepts and ends up facing assassins that had once been from his clan. Only they are not his clan and not as skilled as a lesser master.

The son of one of the first Ashtear and a sidhe queen clone hunts ancient realm gates. When he finds one lost and forgotten he opens a gate. The realm holds dark sidhe and he scouts it until he feels a need to act and help a female slave. After that he discovers their plan to open a gate onto his world to attack.

When the nobles went south they left our city without guidance and protection. The Watch was supposed to protect the people. Instead they began to steal, rape and murder. They took what they wanted and there was no one to stop them. Until they raped and murdered my mother. Now I was going to hunt the bastards and make them pay.

A lad shapes a limb for a bow and finally leaves home to be a mercenary. The strength of the bow proves itself at the start of a siege.

Once a decade the Moon festival becomes the Blue Moon festival and everything gets crazy. As a constable from the festival city I had constables that came in to help for my squad. Sometimes just breaking up a fight can be more than we thought and very dangerous.

Two years in the deepest and worst part of hell and I had enough to buy land. While digging a well the earth slips and he drops into what was the entrance to a mage burial chamber. It was filled with mage books with pages of gold. There was no one that could afford the gold but... He could trade it for help from a mage to keep his farm safe. Only safe is relative when there are mage creatures straying from hell into your fields.
